Terms & Conditions

1. GENERAL PROVISIONS

1.1. THE RULES AND THEIR DURATION

These standard terms and conditions shall apply to orders placed in the online shop animaji.lv (hereinafter referred to as INTERNET SHOP) in Latvian or Russian, between the person (hereinafter referred to as the BUYER) placing the order and SIA RĪGA MT (hereinafter referred to as the SELLER). The existing contractual terms and conditions shall be valid from 01.07.2013.

1.2. DISTANCE CONTRACT

A distance contract is an agreement between the CONSUMER (Article 1(3) of the RTS) and the Seller (Article 1(5) of the RTS) or service provider (Article 1(4) of the RTS) based on an offer by the Seller or service provider by means of an addressed or unaddressed printed matter, standard letter, catalogue, press advertisement accompanied by an order coupon, telephone, facsimile, Internet, electronic mail, television, radio and other means of transmission or transmission of information. The Distance Contract applies to orders and purchases made in the online shop with delivery, but does not apply to purchases made in the Seller's outlets.

1.3. AT THE TIME OF ENTRY INTO FORCE OF THE DISTANCE CONTRACT

The distance contract shall be deemed to have entered into force as soon as the CONSUMER has placed an order by means of the Internet, telephone or other technological means and has received confirmation of the order by electronic mail from the SELLER. Orders and order confirmations shall be deemed to have been received when they are accessible to the parties to whom they are addressed.

1.4. TIME FOR PERFORMANCE OF THE DISTANCE CONTRACT

The SELLER undertakes to fulfil the terms of the distance contract no later than 30 days after receipt of the order from the CONSUMER, unless the contracting parties have agreed on a different time limit. If the SELLER is unable to perform the contract because the goods ordered by the CONSUMER are not available, the SELLER is obliged to inform the CONSUMER thereof. In such case, the SELLER may offer the CONSUMER an equivalent product at an equivalent price.

1.5 RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

In accordance with the Consumer Rights Protection Law of the Republic of Latvia, the CONSUMER may exercise the right of withdrawal and unilaterally withdraw from the distance contract within 14 calendar days and return the purchased goods to the SELLER.

The CONSUMER cannot exercise the right of withdrawal if:
  • the product is not in its original packaging or its packaging is damaged (the protective film of the screen of the device is damaged or torn, the packaging of the device is wrinkled or otherwise damaged);
  • the product is visually damaged (including mechanical damage, damage caused by storage and transport);
  • the consumer is unable to present the goods in their original state;
  • the consumer has mechanically tampered with the goods;
  • the goods have been used;
  • the product is not of the original quality.
he CONSUMER is responsible for maintaining the quality and safety of the goods during the period of exercise of the right of withdrawal.

1.6. RETURN PROCEDURE

When returning the purchased goods, the BUYER must present a document confirming the purchase. The CONSUMER may return the goods, in accordance with the distance contract, within 14 calendar days from the moment of purchase, the refund being made by the same method as from the moment of purchase.
 
2. INFORMATION ABOUT THE ONLINE SHOP

2.1 PRICES

All prices for goods on the WEBSITE are quoted in euros inclusive of value added tax. The cost of delivery of the goods to the BUYER is not included in the price of the goods.

2.2 LANGUAGES

BUYERS of the INTERNET SHOP have the possibility to place an order and conclude a distance contract in Latvian, English or Russian.

2.3 PLACING AN ORDER

The PURCHASER has the possibility to purchase any selected product in the INTERNET STORE by ordering it on the Internet or by phone 67078602, 27012577 or by e-mail veikals@animaji.lv. Еhe BUYER does not need to register to place an order on the INTERNET (non-registered users can also place orders on the INTERNET). Internet order procedure:

  1. Add items to your "Shopping cart"
  2. Change the number/quantity of items (if necessary) and calculate the basket amount by clicking "Make changes"
  3. Click on the "Checkout" button
  4. Log in with your registered email address and password
  5. Enter your personal details
  6. Select the delivery method
  7. Select payment method
  8. Verify your details and click "Confirm Purchase"
  9. Receive your order confirmation by email or phone

2.4. STORAGE CONDITIONS OF THE CONCLUDED CONTRACT

The SELLER does not keep the concluded contracts for the goods purchased on the WEBSITE.

2.5. TECHNICAL MEANS OF DETECTING AND CORRECTING INPUT ERRORS BEFORE THE ORDER IS PLACED

At all stages of the order process, the USER shall be able to edit the data entered in the WEBSITE by going back one or more steps. Any errors found after the order has been confirmed may be corrected by the BUYER by contacting us at 67078602, 27012577 or by e-mail at veikals@animaji.lv.
